Vanina Gil is BRS - Financial Services Supervisor at Grant Thornton Argentina. She is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and holds a diploma in Generational Leadership from the Instituto Especialidades from Dallas, Texas in the United Sates of America.
She has taken different training courses in internal audit, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Testing SOX methodology, business management and other courses in the Argentinean Institute of Internal Auditors (IAIA). Vanina regularly attends to scientific and technical meetings of the Professional Council in Economic Sciences (CPCE).
Vanina has more than 20 years of professional experience and more than 15 in internal and operative audit. She is part of Grant Thornton Argentina since 2019 and is Supervisor since 2022.
She has been involved in assignments for the analysis of weakness in operative process compliance in financial entities and for the integration and interrelation of the operational work and IT teams in audits. Vanina has vast experience in risk assessment and mitigation, assessment and assembly of failure matrix and risk controls, and compliance, design and substantive testing.
