Leonardo Fraga is Audit Partner at Grant Thornton Argentina. He is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).
He was an Accounting Professor at Universidad de Buenos Aires and Assistant Professor of Financial Information at Universidad del CEMA.
Experience
Leonardo has more than 35 years of professional experience, both local and international. The latter includes two years as Senior Manager in Grant Thornton's Weston offices in the United States.
He has been involved in international assignments for auditing, due diligence and IPOs for international markets, applying local and international accounting frameworks and regulations such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP. Leonardo has vast experience advising private companies and international groups in several industries such as agribusiness, energy, entertainment, hospitality, mass consumption goods, distribution and non-profit organizations.
Leonardo was a member of the Strategic Driver Execution Team of Grant Thornton International (GTI) , with responsibilities in the consistent implementation of the global strategy in Argentina. He is also a former member of the GTI IFRS Interpretations Group.
