Qualifications

Fabián Bogado is IT Advisory Director in BRS – Financial Services at Grant Thornton Argentina. He is an Information Systems Engineer from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in Santa Fe (UTN - FRSF). He has a certification as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association).

Fabián is member of Asociación de Auditoría y Control de Sistemas de Información (ADACSI), the Buenos Aires chapter of ISACA and participates in various audit committees.

Experience

Fabián has more than 25 years of professional experience in the banking industry. He is an expert in IT auditing and specialist in Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA – Argentina’s Central Bank) compliance (Com. A 6017, 6375 & 7266), business intelligence and SAP ERP & SAP Banking.

He has been involved in cybersecurity assignments, risk management and continuity management (BIA, BSP & DRP). He has vast experience in GAP Analysis following BCRA norms and international IT/SI standards, QA of internal audit reviews, approval and supervision of the audit plan and presentation of results.
