Elisabet Mónaco is BRS - Financial Services Supervisor at Grant Thornton Argentina. She is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL).
She has taken different training courses in regulations form the Banco Central de la República Argentina (Central Bank of Argentina - BCRA) and on leadership strategies.
Elisabet as more than 25 years of professional experience in internal and external audit. She is part of Grant Thornton Argentina since 2018 and is Supervisor since 2024.
She has been involved in assignments for internal audit, external audit, quarterly and annual balances (determination of relevant items and their analysis), compliance and substantive tests, drafting of reports required by the BCRA and supervision of the team's tasks.
Some of her main clients at Grant Thornton Argentina are Banco Rioja SAU and Fondo de Garantía Público La Rioja SAU (FOGAPLAR SAU).
Before joining Grant Thornton Argentina, she worked for 12 years at Associated Auditors S.A. as an internal auditor of financial entities where she reached the position of Manager, and eight years at Banco de Entre Ríos SA, where she was supervisor of central areas in the Internal Audit Department for five years and accounting manager for three years.
