Grant Thornton Argentina, member firm of Grant Thornton International, recently appointed Ignacio Raffaelli as a new partner for the Business Process Solutions (BPS) division. This appointment represents an important step in the strategic growth plans of the firm, which has 350 professionals, 21 partners and has provided audit, tax and consulting services to private sector companies and public interest entities for more than 50 years. "The promotion of new partners always generates expectations and joy for us, but we are particularly proud when it comes to someone trained in our organization and imbued with our values and culture," says Fernando Fucci, Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Argentina.

“The appointment as Partner of Grant Thornton Argentina is an enormous personal and professional satisfaction” says Ignacio, who is a National Public Accountant graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). “In 2005, halfway through my university career, I joined the firm as an Junior Analyst in the Audit division, seeking to add technical knowledge and experience in the professional field. Not only were all these expectations fully met, but they also provided me with opportunities to grow within the firm, which I always assumed with great enthusiasm and responsibility. This new promotion is not going to be different”.
In 2010, Ignacio was appointed External Audit Manager. After a few years working for a Grant Thornton client, in 2018 he rejoined the firm as Business Process Solutions Accounting Manager. In 2021 he was promoted to Director of the area and starting 2023 he takes on the new challenge of working as a Partner. "Apart from the professional, I don't want to fail to mention the main asset that Grant Thornton has, which is the quality of people who are part of it and the values with which it works daily" -says Ignacio-. “I am very grateful to all the Partners for giving me this opportunity, and just as I have done since 2005, I am going to take on this new role with a lot of responsibility, a lot of work, upholding the values of the firm and contributing my bit to continue to grow so that we can all every day feel even more comfortable working at Grant Thornton.”
